Supporting LA During These Challenging Times

the impact of the fires
As many of you know, Los Angeles has recently faced devastating wildfires, deeply affecting parts of the city I’ve always called home. The destruction has been widespread, impacting the land, wildlife, residents, and small businesses alike. While the fires have thankfully been contained, the damage runs deep, and the road to recovery will take time. LA is a place that means so much to so many, and right now, it’s in the process of healing.
a personal note from SKAIS
LA has never been just a city to me, it’s been home. It’s where I’ve made lifelong connections, created core memories, and found comfort in its rhythm. Seeing it go through so much loss is heartbreaking, and my heart is with everyone and everything affected.
But LA is strong. Its people, its communities, and its spirit have always been resilient. The focus now is on healing, together.
Until then, I’m holding onto hope, standing with those impacted, and sending love to a place that will always mean the world to me.
If you’re able and looking for ways to help, I’ve included a list of resources and donation options to assist those directly impacted by the fires. Every bit of support counts.
Thank you for your understanding during this time. My heart is with this city and everyone working together to rebuild.
With love,
Kai
